There's no fate but what we make for ourselves . . .

Kind of the reason for starting this Blog, I wanted to "push" myself into painting my Terminator Genisys Miniatures - what with Family, Work, and my Own Health - sometimes the fun stuff gets left behind.

So - in an attempt to drive myself - I've started this blog. It will mostly be about my personal "journey" with the Game - but thoughts on releases too, maybe even thoughts about the Terminator Franchise in general (both looking back and moving forward).

ALMOST the minute I saw the game was coming I was buzzing, I had some of the Leading Edge Miniatures (living in the UK when they were released I couldn't find them all -  I couldn't even get a hold of the Book) and so they had "sat" in their plastic cases as part of my collection for years.

As soon as the Pre-Order went up at Warlord Games I was there, and my Fate was Set (too cute?) as it were.

The Game Arrived, and I was suitably excited - and even more impressed when I opened the Box - simple, fairly well detailed models, good quality card and paper components - nice sturdy dice.

Modelling and Painting can be slow for me (I have early onset arthritis) and so (especially how busy I get with the "real world") Hobby Time is at a premium for me, I take my time and get as much enjoyment out of it as possible.

As the Wargames Factory Apocalypse Survivors are of the same scale, I decided to work on some Conversions of the Troops - I like variety (being more of a Skirmish Wargamer than a Big Battle Wargamer) so head swaps between the existing Resistance Miniatures, more borrowed from the Apocalypse Survivors, and weapon re-positions were the order of the Day.

Don't worry, the DS style bases were an aberration - although I've kept the resin base inserts, they are now based on the flatter Bolt Action style bases used in the Terminator Genisys Game.

As you can see, it's actually really easy to make simple changes to help make these wonderful Miniatures Pop!

Next up - projects, ideas, and efforts.
