Timelord Problems?

Timelord Problems? Really?

This is the Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game we are Talking about Right? Not Doctor Who!

Me (when I was a fetus) with the 6th Doctor Who (Colin Baker)

Yup, but - as is usual "Time and Space" are my biggest issues (geddit?)

Don't get me wrong, I've been carrying on with my Basing and Assembling of Models (in this Case Endo's) - but I've still not had time to sit and paint!

Luckily my Painting Area is NEVER this bad, well - not usually.

It's a frustrating fact of my life that often by the time I've gotten everything out ready to sit down and start painting - something else crops up and I have to start putting everything away without even picking up a brush.

Like a LOT of Gamers out there, I don't have a dedicated area/room to paint in - in part down to space (our spare room is an office, and is kept as such) and also down to having Cats (they climb over EVERYTHING) - don't get me wrong, I wouldn't part with any of my "furbabies" but having them around can be counterproductive to maintaining a hobby environment.

My Best Friend Zac.

Still, it makes things challenging (although amusing, when I do get to paint Zac is a generally attentive audience).

I feel things "mounting up" - and that's not just the pile of Hobby things I want to attend to, but also life - all "piled on" with me as the bottom Zombie.

See, that's me right at the bottom struggling to catch up!

So, I have a change in plan - a Tray, with the specific colours I need for each paint job (one at a time) and the Models ready to go. Then, even if its just ten minutes for a Wash or a Drybrush - I can get SOMETHING done. It's something I used to do years ago, when I was still living with my Parents - and over time, I slowly saw progress in whatever I was painting at the time. This doesn't mean a replacement for any planned longer sessions - oh no, this will be AS WELL AS those sessions.

HOPEFULLY I should start seeing progress relatively quickly now - which is of importance to me, as I have received some reinforcements.
